If yes, this role might be for you: Domotz is now looking for a talented, passionate and motivated Platform Tools Engineer to join our team as a Freelancer in Sofia (Bulgaria)! We are looking for an experienced Platform Tools Engineer with expertise in Continuous Integration (CI), internal tooling development, and automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining internal tools that enhance developer productivity, improve CI/CD pipelines, and optimize platform engineering workflows. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes. Develop and maintain internal tools to support engineering teams in automation, monitoring, and workflow optimization. Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to enhance developer productivity. Ensure platform scalability, reliability, and efficiency through automation and tooling. Integrate various third-party tools and services into internal workflows to optimize efficiency. Automate repetitive tasks to minimize manual intervention in engineering processes. Document best practices, workflows, and internal tools for engineering teams. Requirements: Basic Qualifications: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and container orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Docker). Proven experience in CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance (Jenkins, TeamCity, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar). Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or SaltStack. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to optimize workflows through automation. Strong communication and documentation skills to support engineering teams. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack. Familiarity with programming languages like Python or Javascript. Familiarity with API development and integrations for internal tooling.
